Long-distance move from Colorado to Pennsylvania

Careless Broker - http://wepackmoving.com/.

Avoid We-Pack Moving company at all cost. They took my money for the moving services that never materialized for over seven weeks, would not help me deal with their carrier, and would not refund my money of over $2000.
Filing my complaints with FTC, BBB, FMCSA, AMSA, the State Attorney General, and will probably see them in Court.

Long-distance move from Miami, FL to Freehold, NJ

Moved from Florida to NJ.

The initial contact with this brokerage service was very positive. Once they received the down payment I wasn't able to reach the broker who serviced me. Although he said he was available all the time, once he got the deposit he vanished. I don't want to create a problem for anyone and would say his name but his initials are RM. Once they got their deposit they assigned this job to a moving company in the area, this happen to be in Miami. Our move consisted off putting our goods into storage for approximately 5 months and then moving it to NJ. Two men arrived to load a 2 bedroom apartment. We paid to have them pack everything. When they arrived they weren't aware that they had to pack everything so they were short a person. All was OK with them but it took 8 hours to move. We watched them pack and load the truck and all seemed to be OK, We recently got delivery of our goods in NJ. All seemed to be OK, no hidden costs and 2 men to unload the truck. Everything started to go well until we began to see how much of our goods came broken. Apparently from the time the truck was loaded at our apartment there was a lot of damage putting and taking our goods out of their storage facility. Now the problem begins, the 2 men were surprised to see all the damage and took pictures and made a report of all the damaged goods. He is where the problem begins. I call the company and tell them about the amount of damaged goods, smashed boxes, etc. Their response is to complete a claim form and then advise us that the insurance covers 50 cents per pound which is basically nothing. I told them that when I paid extra to have them pack everything I thought my goods would be protected and not have to pay additional insurance if they did their job correctly. Apparently it doesn't matter. If they want they can destroy your goods by their negligence and not care about your losses. I told them they have to do the right thing because there was broken TV, Bed, mirrors, glassware etc. At least $2000 in damages. Now we are waiting to hear from them. Beware of these brokers they don't care about anything except their commissions. Very disappointed with WE Pack and the contractors they used with our move. Go direct and avoid the brokers and make sure you take out replacement cost insurance.

Long-distance move from Schenectady, NY to Boca Raton, FL

Great Experience.

My husband and I were so impressed by the quality of the work made by this company. Everything was perfect. From easy booking, to the genuine thoughtfulness of the employees. My husband knows better than anyone that anything that implements change in my life stresses me out to the maximum extent. Consequently, I was expecting this move to be difficult and an absolute strain. I was taken aback by the surprise I felt when I realized my stuff and all my belongings were actually in good hands.

This company has done more for me than just move my belongings from one place to another. It has restored my faith in people. I now know that I really can trust this company.

Long-distance move from Sun City, AZ to Pittsburgh, PA

Cross Country move.

This is a company that claims to be there thru the entire move. Until they contract with another moving company (not a very good one) and you will never be able to get ahold of these guys again. The moving company they contracted with has over 100 loads to deliver and they are waiting for trucks to come in. I have called that company on many occasions and they are very rude and still have my things in their warehouse. The packed my things on the 5th of September. It is now the 26th and I have no idea when it will arrive. Don't expect any help from WePack..it won't be there for you.

We-Pack Moving = Brokers = BAD SERVICE.

I am still in the process of working with the Better Business Bureau on my complaint regarding my moving experience with We-Pack. This company is so dirty, so dishonest that I feel it is my duty as a fellow human being to warn customers about hiring this broker.

Their website is professional and makes lots of statements about service that I can guarantee the company will not meet. Their sales people will give you a sense of false security. They want your deposit, in cash, and they will assure you that you will be well-taken care of. It's a lie. Run.

Long-distance move from Florida to Washington DC

Run.Fast.Run.

Run. Fast. Run:
We-Pack is a moving broker. We-Pack gives you an estimate outlaying what is included, the cost and takes a deposit. Despite the slogan which says, “We-Pack, We Load, We Drive, when it is time for your move, We-Pack sends one of their 'agent/carriers’ to pack and move your belongings. On their website, We-Pack states they use only "qualified carriers with over 100 years combined experience". In addition, they state that, "customer service is truly our first priority" and pledge to make your move, "as stress free as possible". Nothing could be further from the truth. We-Pack sent their 'carrier', Rolls Trans on 8/12 for my move from Jax to Washington, DC. They charged $750 dollars more than my estimate, verbal aggression when I questioned the difference, inability to show how they measured/weighed my belongings to come up with the overage, and NO customer service. I have filed a complaint with DOT for deceptive practices and failure to provide me with Rolls Trans' arbitration information as required by law.

In addition and more importantly, one of the 'movers' inappropriately touched a female relative who was overseeing the move for me. The Jacksonville Beach Police have been contacted and we are committed to making sure no other female will be put in a vulnerable situation again by this man. The mistake I made was thinking that We-Pack would be upset by the situation and take it seriously. To date, they have been uncooperative. Michael the 'manager' does not call (as promised)or return a call. Sean, my salesman does not return a call. Run. Fast. Run.

Long-distance move from Cleveland, OH to Raleigh, NC

Over Promise Under Deliver.

Normally I don't take time to review things unless a company goes over and above or are so poor that I don't want someone else to make the same mistake. Unfortunately We Pack falls into the latter scenario. All the fears that I harbored about having a bad move have come true. These issues are split into two categories: 1. We Pack's poor Customer Service (after your stuff is picked up) and 2. We Pack subcontracting the execution of the actual move to low quality moving companies.

Regarding #1, the only smooth part of my move was the initial sales call and the reassurances that I received. My biggest concern was how long it would take the moving company to get my stuff to my new home. We Pack will tell you that contractually they have 10 business days but that in reality your stuff will get there in “Insert Whatever Time Frame You Want to Hear”. Once your stuff gets picked up, the answer reverts back to your stuff will arrive within “10 business days but I can’t give you an exact date”.

We Pack also told me that my stuff was going to be driven directly from the pick up point to my new residence. Do not believe this, my stuff was driven from the pick up point in Ohio to for some reason New Jersey and has been sitting in a warehouse for over a week (note: my new place is in North Carolina). My stuff is going to take the full 2 weeks if I’m lucky, a fact that I only found out about after calling the subcontracted moving company directly.

Once your stuff is picked up, don’t expect anyone from We Pack’s customer service team to help you or even call you back. It takes about 15 calls to We Pack’s customer service rep to equal 1 call back. I hope you’re not busy with other things.

Regarding point #2 above, We Pack also put me in a bad situation by utilizing Most Valuable Movers. I have a 1100 SF apartment and it took the moving team 12 full hours to finish packing and loading my stuff into the truck. They guys were nice enough but one of the two movers was an amateur, my apartment was literally the first move he’s ever completed. His inexperience caused friction with his partner and the two of them almost came to blows. Its not a good sign when you hear aggressive screaming from the street and you look outside and it’s your two movers standing toe to toe by all your stuff sitting out on the sidewalk.

MVP also sent me a form telling me that my delivery was delayed because I didn’t provide them an address. You have to complete a bill of lading and several other documents all of which you need to list your address for them to leave. Clearly they lost that form and as I haven’t gotten my stuff yet God knows if I’m going to get everything on the inventory. Maybe they lost that too.

Long story short, do yourself a favor and go with someone else even if its more expensive. Moving is stressful enough without this level of disregard and incompetence.

Long-distance move from Buffalo, NY to Richlands, NC

Another moving nightmare.

Though since I had a good experience with the original reservation phone call, everything would work out.
Well its only the beginning, but when the movers arrived, (one didn't even speak english, I don't have a problem with immigrants, but if you are going to work with people SPEAK ENGLISH!!)
The move ended up costing me $500 extra dollars. I did not have alot of furniture.
Then was charged $150 for one wardrobe box and ten rolls of tape. Tape mostly used top secure items in the trruck.

We-Pack Moving, Awesome Company!

They don't cut corners, they exceed all expectations. No exaggeration, they gave an up front, honest estimate of the total cost. They arrived precisely when they said they would. I didn't expect the move to be perfect, but IT WAS! I know one thing for sure, if I ever move again (and I hope I don't!), I'll absolutely be calling WePack Moving. Thank you thank you thank you so much to everyone at that company. What an awesome experience.
